I have captured countless weddings, and overtime my approach to weddings has evolved, and I now take on a more intimate number of clients each year, to make sure I dedicate more time to each wedding edit.

A wedding day is an absolute whirlwind for the bride and groom, and my goal is to bring a grounding energy. I understand the importance  of being there when needed and helping you remain present in the moment, without being overly aware of the cameras. I take control of the couple portraits, providing direction when needed, but for the rest of the day, I let the moments unfold naturally. My eye is always on the lookout for those candid moments that you will inevitably miss, creating a gallery of photos that will help keep your memories alive forever.

My brides always put their trust in me to capture them at their best. We have often become friends after the big day, and they book me for my romantic, polished, editorial style. To take a look at some complete wedding galleries please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

or the past decade

1. A bride who is a girl’s girl, and bridesmaids who have their back!

2. Grandparents; if you are lucky enough to have them at your wedding, this should be celebrated and documented

3. Seeing Your Personality; whether it’s in the décor, the vows or the playlist

4. Speaking of playlist; Fleetwood Mac

5. Morning prep; my time to get you camera confident. The ultimate warm up

6. A videographer who contributes creatively. Nothing better than working alongside a great team

7. Emotion; genuine, unaffected emotion. If it’s there I will capture it!

8. Abroad weddings; the light is incomparable. I do a handful a year

9. ‘my love has got no money….he’s got his strong beliefs’

10. Seeing a bride and groom enjoy themselves. It’s been a huge build up, lots of time, money and stress to get there. It goes in a flash, enjoy!

Ultimately, I love the magic of stepping into a family, and witnessing not just the couple's love for each other, but the love between a father and daughter, mother and son, generation to generation. There is nothing more real than love, there is nothing more hopeful than love. And there is nothing more special than being invited to capture it. So shooting weddings...

It had me at I do.

EN THINGS I LOVE ABOUT A WEDDING

1. I am not only a wedding photographer. For over a decade I have shot for brands and magazines. I have my own studio where I shoot maternity, celebrity and performers. I think mixing up my work keeps me inspired in all areas

2. ALL my work you see has been shot at real weddings, I have never been on a workshop, or a styled shoot. My portfolio is authentic

3. My style is your style. I don’t look for shots to suit my style or use a uniformed filter. I will always shoot to fit you and your wedding

4. I shoot alongside my husband. I always have. We are a great team, and his photos frequently make the cover photo on an insta scroll. And I of course take the credit… marriage

5. If desired, I retouch. I have years of beauty retouching experience.

6. I have invested in lenses that mean I can be unobtrusive in your ceremony and speeches. These are deeply personal moments, and the last thing you need is a camera all up in your face!

7. I worked as a tv presenter (past life) for ten years on live tv. So it’s part of my genetic make up to work under pressure, always turn up, and regardless of circumstances be ready to go at 100 percent

8. I care as much about the smaller weddings, as the luxury ones, my prices I hope reflect this, as I shoot a real mixture of weddings

9. Even though it’s been a while, I have been a bride, planned a wedding, got super nervous about walking down the aisle, been overwhelmed at the love on the day, and ripped the back of my dress on the dance floor. Basically I know what you are feeling/needing on the day from first hand experience!

10. There is not much I havn’t seen now, from a bride losing her veneer before the ceremony, to guests being stuck on a bus in London because of a protest, to brides running hours late, giggle fits in ceremonies, groom’s getting food poisoning, cars not turning up, torrential all day rain, the covid years, champagne towers smashing, hair stylists not turning up (I did the hair). Basically I have seen it all, and at this point I am completely unflappable, and I would like to think extremely helpful!
